Dear friends,

What makes a person absorb (take it in to consideration) something which he reads without treating it as just another piece of literature or writing?......... I thought about the answer to this myself for I believed that a crucial element of learning from books is not how much we read BUT how much we understand and absorb from what we read.

In conclusion I came up with an answer which is of course my personal opinion about this (you may have your own answers too) .it is >the amount of unbiased view we have on what we read. Well for example let us say we love to eat a type of food and we come across a news paper article which points out all the reasons why that food(which we love to eat) is bad..:(…. Then lets say we ignore all what it says; we can call it a biased view point for we ignored and possibly even criticized what was given in the paper simply for the fact that we love to eat it……………………….

I think this a crucial for us to investigate and discuss about this matter for I believe that if we improve the way we perceive reality we could thereby improve the quality of our lives as well.

We have been subjected to heavy conditioning by many out side forces which we live every day with. For example we think as our parents think or we tend to do things as how others do it or we tend to copy a person e.c.t. so at this point we can ask ourselves some questions…

/do I see things as others want me to see things?

/Do I live a life which the decisions I take in it are heavily influenced by others opinion about it?

/ Am I letting myself controlled by others?

/Are the believes that I have learnt in my child hood prevent me from seeing the truth, The reality?

Dear friends what I want to point out is that we all have a right to see things as they are, to hear things as are spoken and to live a independent life not controlled by others. Well this does not apply to those who like to live as someone else want there lives to be….

If you have any interests, doubts or even criticism J let me know….

Below is my e mail address and I like to welcome all of you who are thinkers and philosophers to join hands with me on a quest for knowledge…..
